Dissident Music is back for 2021 with new music, new energy and new artists, one of whom delivers his single debut on Dissident as our first release of the year. Let us introduce you to: Focus. Focus (aka Eric) has been a DJ for over two decades, cutting his teeth on the fertile 1990s rave scene in South Florida. Performing live, DJ-ing, and releasing music, both solo and as part of the acts Solfusion, and Salvatore & Focus, Eric delivered his brand of mayhem to dance floors across the United States and released music on labels like *69, Sheeva, PGE and Cloud 7. After an absence from the scene, Eric’s love for music could no longer be contained, and he started writing music again. Incredibly prolific, he started sending demos to us at Dissident - each one better than the last. After first appearing on our Dissident Miami 2020 compilation, and being a winner in our first remix contest, Focus joins us for his first full EP- The Vortech EP.
