Choose the library and folders
Select a supported Serato 4 internal-drive library, source music folders and a distinct destination on the same volume.
Music Consolidator helps move selected referenced audio into a planned location while updating the links in one supported Serato 4 library. Choose source and destination folders on the same internal volume, scan the selected library and review each proposed destination path before moving a file. The tool preserves the path below its chosen source and shows collisions instead of merging files silently.
It does not rename tracks, edit tags, deduplicate versions or change crate and cue information. Only the chosen Serato library’s paths are updated; another app or library that points to the old file path may need its own relink.

This page previews one of nine focused tools planned for a single forthcoming Mac app. The tools are separate workflows inside that app, not browser utilities or nine separate downloads. A public download is not available, and no release date has been announced.
How it works
01
Select a supported Serato 4 internal-drive library, source music folders and a distinct destination on the same volume.
02
Inspect old and new paths for selected, healthy references; missing files, unsafe dependencies and collisions are excluded.
03
Confirm the reviewed operation to move files and update the selected library links, with a backup and an undo option.
Supported files and libraries
Check the supported files and library requirements before choosing a tool.
Compatibility note
External drives and cross-volume moves are not supported. Missing files, unsupported formats, video or streaming entries, path dependencies and destination collisions are excluded from the review. Compatibility checks after reopening in Serato are still underway.
Useful now
Serato documents its own copy and file-management actions. The guide is useful if you need a current workflow today; compare the source and destination behavior before planning a library-wide change.
Open Serato’s file-management guideQuestions and answers
No. It preserves names and does not decide whether two files are duplicates. A destination collision blocks the row for review rather than overwriting or combining files.
The supported scope is a same-volume move on the internal drive as the library and source audio. External-drive and cross-volume migrations are excluded.
Only the selected Serato library’s file references are updated. Another app or library that uses the old paths may need to be relinked separately.
