Paste a public storefront link
Use a supported music.apple.com playlist URL; the storefront region remains part of the source.
Apple Music Link Import takes a public storefront playlist link and turns its visible song list into requests for local matching. The preview includes the playlist title, storefront region, songs shown and a coverage check when Apple lists a total number of tracks. You choose when to accept the preview and begin reviewing local matches.
This is a bridge from public metadata to music files you already have. It does not sign into your Apple account, inspect a private library, download a stream or convert subscription access into a local file. If the number of songs shown differs from Apple’s listed total, the preview keeps that warning visible.

This page previews one of nine focused tools planned for a single forthcoming Mac app. The tools are separate workflows inside that app, not browser utilities or nine separate downloads. A public download is not available, and no release date has been announced.
How it works
01
Use a supported music.apple.com playlist URL; the storefront region remains part of the source.
02
Compare the visible song list with Apple’s listed total when available, and inspect any coverage warning.
03
Choose the songs to match against local folders, review versions and save an M3U8 list of selected files.
Supported files and libraries
Check the supported files and library requirements before choosing a tool.
Compatibility note
Private or library-only links are outside the supported flow. The importer reads the public playlist page, not Apple Music playback. If the page changes or the number of songs shown does not match the listed total, it keeps the warning visible so you can decide whether to proceed. M3U8 support depends on the app that receives the playlist.
Useful now
Playlist matching works best when local files have clear artist, title and version information. Our library guide walks through useful organization habits that also make manual request-list review easier.

No. It imports public song metadata only. Any M3U8 export points to selected local music files and does not contain streamed audio.
When Apple’s public page lists a total, the preview compares that number with the songs it can show. A mismatch or unavailable total remains a visible warning.
No. The tool does not sign in, read your private library or use account credentials. It supports public storefront playlist URLs only.
No. It exports an M3U8 reference list for an app that supports that format. Receiving-app support varies, and a native Serato crate is not part of this tool.
